At least warriors fans showed their grievance at the Stains game and stayed away in thousands. That may have got the message home that we are not reet happy. But chins up the drop is avoidable may be with a little rules tweeting by super league.

I'm not quite sure how you come to that conclusion. I stayed away, I was at a wedding of a friend I've known longer than I've been supporting Wigan. That wasn't a protest. The attendance was less than on Good Friday last year, that's true. But is a Bank Holiday Friday really comparable to a Saturday evening when people might have been working during the day? If you're working until 5pm then it's very very difficult indeed for many people to get to a game for 6pm. Again, practical reasons for not going, nothing to do with a protest. And it's theoretically summer, so some people will have been on holiday (bit nicer time of year than Easter).

Your assumption that people haven't gone because they were protesting is some way off the mark.

I know you don't think much of the perceptive abilities of Messrs Lindsay and Whelan but I'm guessing they know the fans aren't happy anyway without checking the attendance figures.

Imagine my surprise when I glanced at the league table yesterday and realised that we weren't having the superb season our performances on the pitch had led me to believe. Something has to be done, maybe something really constructive like setting up our own breakaway team called Wigan RLFC and working our way up through the leagues..that'll make the world sit up and take notice!

come on we don't wanna stay up by the rules being altered ......
Yes we do :eusa17:
we have no god given right to our place in super league and if we finish in the relegation spots we SHOULD go down.
