Just seen that he's signed a new contract til 2006 - fantastic, he's been great this year and like all the rest is getting better by the minute.

That is great news! Really did think that the rah rah money would tempt him away or out compete us. Think in that lad we have the makings of a top quality international winger, as he seems to be improving week in week out.

Dont think that you have been watching the same Brian Carney as we have all been watching. I have to admit at first he was a little ropey under pressure but know he has improved no end and is a superb winger, solid under the high ball, releives pressure when we are on our line and helps the forwards with his energy sapping runs. The only thing that i think is a little lacking is his positioning but as he has only been playing the game for a relitively short time given the level he is playing think this aspect of his game will also come over the course of the season.
