Not for four years given his age.

If he was 26 then it would be different but he will be 30 by the time he plays for Wire and 34 by the time his contract is up.

If we had signed him for that long p n b would be on here tellng us we were stupid to sign a player that old for that long.

The rumour is he is on £215K a year which is silly money for any player at that end of his career for four years so I am glad we didn't get any higher in any bidding war for his services.

For once our involvement in a bid for a player seems to have resulted in another club paying over the odds for a player instead of us.

If i had to choose between Morley and Fielden,i'd choose Fielden, younger, bigger an 80 minute player.

I was chatting to a Wire mad colleague who was not impressed by the signing. 30 years old and a 4 year contract; a player who is fine when he is in Australia but when he returns to the UK and spends time with his friends he hits trouble (drink/drive ban); Warrington already have a bad boy culture.
