Anyone interested in RL games?

There has been a new RL game in the pipeline since last year and it is due out in October this year.The game is being made by a NZ firm and published by HE's Interactive in Australia.Anyone interested can have a look by going to http://www.hesinteractive.com/

Click on the NRL logo on the home page to see some very early screenshots and a very early demo that was released last year just before Christmas-download it and try it.Today they have updated the info by adding a new video clip of the game in its later stages which is far superior to the early screenshots/demo.
I have played the demo and for 4 months work its quite good.Some things had been left out like offloads and two man tackles to keep the file size down but you can see that the basic idea is good and the final version should be addictive.
People from Britain need to send E-Mails to HE'S to show them that their is demand for the game over here and that we want SL teams in the game.Europe distribution is planned but they have not yet decided who will be selling the game.It would be a shame if we dont have SL teams in such a great game and if everyone interested E-Mails them it could just convince them into getting the rights to include SL teams.

I have sent my Email. Every RL fan should get behind this game then it may get released over here.

wow! i have been after a RL game for a long time, i have just sent em an email..

heck,. i`d even use the nrl teams, just to actually play a RL sim on the ps2,

hopefully they will release it over here, or find someway we can pick it up, on pc or something...

Well done guys for sending the E-Mails.I had a reply back saying that the game will deffo be released over here on PC/X-BOX/PS2 but they had not decided who would distribute it yet.

I dunno if youve played the demo? but i know one of the beta testers who has played the latest version of whats been done and he said its light years ahead of the demo.Apparently the CPU AI is so realistic and some of the tackles are so hard that you would expect to see arms and legs flying off!! The good thing about this game is that they have listened to the fans and taken into account what we want in the game.That was the reason for such an early demo,so the fans could tell them what they did and didnt like so hopefully the end result will be just as good as the real thing and have us hooked for hours at a time.

We need more people E-Mailing them to show that they have a market over here for the game and that we want SL teams involved.Imagine if you could play a WCC game at the end of each season,that would be awesome.
