True exactly the same when Fielden got his first touch. "Newton give us a wave"? Never mind a wave just stick to your day job and set up two tries and no lack of discipline. Well done Terry for keeping your cool amongst several immature Stains fans. :eusa2:

Was all in good humour I thought, Saints fan were booing Wigan players, some Wigan fans started to jokingly boo the Saints players when they got the ball. There didn't seem to be any abusive language around where I was stood in the main stand.

League games you can expect some banter at these players e.g Newton, Long etc...... but the stains fans were singing "die, die Newton f%*kin' die"........totally disgraceful in my opinion when he's playing for his country. Not very patriotic them scousers. mind you, you'd probably need to show ya passport to get outta that sh*t hole!!! :sly:

Rubbish, I was on my way to the ground last night with my 13 year old son, We where meeting my mate at the ground so i also had his daughter with me, A car drove past with a group of Stains fans in it, One of them very nicely shouted out of the window "You ------- fat c (i don't think it will be to hard to work out what they said)", Okay granted i may be a little overweight but do i deserve that sort of treatment because i was wearing the cherry and white? I don't think so, Also inside the ground there was a group of Stains fans (scum i think is a better word) singing all the way through the game "Going down, Goind down. Going down, There was also a group of Wire fans near us so they got the "W---y, W---y W---y,W---y Warrington" treatment, Am i mistaken by thinking it was a Great Britain game last night?, I would just like to finish this post by saying i have just about had enough of the Stains lot, I hope and pray that they find themselves in the same position as they did last season by finishing top of the table and not winning a god dam thing, Even better to see them coming third or fourth would be a nice bonus. Have a nice day.

The (admittedly teenage, so not too grown up) idiot Wire fan next to me was having a conversaiton with his mate that went along the lines of he wanted GB to lose so that Noble would get the sack and Cullen would get the job. He cheered everything Fa'afili did and chanted "Noble out". This, despite literally wrapping himself in the Union Jack.

Whilst I'm disgusted by the abuse individuals get just by wearing a different shirt, the banter during the match perhaps is understandable. How many times, for example, do Wigan fans sing "if you hate St Helens" when we're not even playing the Scousers? I've never understood that myself, but since us Wigan fans sing irrelevant songs with nothing to do with the game taking place, we shouldn't really complain about people going to a GB match and having a go at Wigan or other clubs who are also not taking part.
