Saints out of the top 6 now and theyve got all the top 6 finishers last year for there next five matches. On this form they could be joinming halifax down there!!!

Apparently Stains stay in the 6 on points difference from the Wire, but it's a close thing. I read also that Tommy Martyn has been dropped for next year due to financial restrictions (suggesting they may be over the limit this year as well?), but PLEASE don't anyone suggest we sign him to be our future stand-off. I'd rather kill myself than ever cheer for him. He's apparently really unhappy about the decision, boo hoo poor Tommy. What a shame - NOT.
More importantly than the irrelevant folk over Billinge Lump, we're now just 1 point behind Hull on the verge of a top-3 placing - who would have expected that about 6 weeks ago?!

I dont think anyone on here would want us to sign Martyn now but i have to say i do feel for him. If it was 3 or 4 years ago i would have snapped him up but not now too old and probobaly too expensive for what he has to offer, although we may not like the team he plays for i appreciate what he has done for R.L. and his loyalty to his club to be honest i think its a disgrace that he doesnt get a testimonial year but im sure something will be sorted for such a servant to rugby leage.

My god if we were to sign Martyn then I would be joining Fraggle on immediate suicide watch. Not only is he one of the most heinous cheats in RL history, he is also a useless, past it, has been!

What wonderful news about the scum! I would have loved to have seem Millward's face when he heard the news. It is made all the sweeter by the fact that Millward was crying about us being able to afford Furner!
Tough luck Scum - come on the Wire!
As for Bratfot and Leeds - the only reason that nothing is done to them is because of Caisley and Hetherington. The is not a chance that they are both under the salary cap.
GF here we come!!!!!!!

hi,
im not sticking up for stains but on wish FM yesterday the stains chairman made an annoucment saying its not that they've been paying there players to much its that they've been putting money into wrong accounts and its totally there fault, there probably paying cunningham+sculthorpe extra into an over seas bank acount,
I JUST WANA SEE THEM NOT RECOVER FROM THIS POOR FORM
