We deserved to be ahead in the first half; our defence was mostly tight as a nail and Farrell (as he always does) charged through the Rhinos defences giving the faster, younger players the break they needed to get those all important trys. The second half, however, was a different story. We came so close to a couple of trys which we needed but the Leeds defence was too strong. The backs could have worked much harder in that second half and if you didn't know any better you'd think Wigan didn't have a scrum half. All I can say is, I think Leeds were expecting an easy victory, instead, what they got was a team ready for a hell of a fight, and they did!

the reason we lost was cos we didn`t do the basics.. we deserved our 14 point lead, & i was even convinced we would win when aspinwall went over in the second for a 20-12 lead...u can forgive the team one lapse for the calderwood try..
that should have been it.. game over. but no.. knock on`s in our own 30, just basic mistakes & like i read in one of the tabloids from raper this morning some of the guys didn`t pull there weight.. this needs adressing..
i was proud of our draw at headingly, we deserved more & for 60 mins tonight we were class.. we gotta play for the full 80.
we play some good rugby, then follow it up with foolishness..
oh well...
win next friday & i`ll be over it!! LOL
