I said i would let you all know about the tour after id been on it so heres the report

Worth the £3 or so and the kids will love it

First off you can get the Pizza or Pasta at Rigalettos where the food is superb!

You visit the Changing rooms, refs rooms, interview rooms and along the way you will see all the various photos in the corridors of football and Rugby acheivements and some of the older teams at Wigan

Then you get to go out side in the dug outs you then walk around the West stand around to the Gym under the East Stand, this bit was interesting as only the Rugby use the Gym.

You will see all the various slogans on the wall put there by noble things like "Communication is your best ally", "Defence is everyones responsibility"
One interesting thing we where told is before Noble came in the gym had no weights at all only cardio machines which probably answers the questions about picking up so many injuries and also why training was so boring under Millward.

You cant go on the pitch!! Mr Whealan says so!

You then go into the board rooms executive suites and see how the other half live.

The funniest thing is seeing an old picture of Dave Whealan in his Balckburn playing days if you spot him or you have seen him he looks like a freckled cartoon character with a flat top hair do and big cheesey grin.

Its worth a look if your a fan of Wigan i tried to get the identity of who is inside Max but they dont know

Get yourself down there and get some good photos of the ground etc

Didnt see any players

Kids love it as they will in awe of the place
Said you would all love it! My kids are still on about it 2 weeks later and i am going on the tour again with the riversiders tomorrow. Will be easier to take photos when we know what to expect as everybody was a bit giddy last time! Reccomend the tour to anyone!!

the weights were taken out of the gym by our present conditioner prior to the season apparently he wanted the players to bulk up and put weight on so the following off season they could turn that into muscle mass.
