John Sharps comments
Did this guy really watch the same game i went to.He states the facts that we had a 7-1 penalty count in our favour ,and the 1 they got was when dobby was alleged to of moved off the mark and gave them a penalty in front of the sticks.
He dosnt mention his teams constant lying on trying to slow the game down, which last week saw catalans get 3 players sin binned for very similar actions, not once did kk reach for his pocket when he had plenty of options to.
all so it proved hoe disiplined our players have become under nobby ,ie in the first half we got pulled up several times for not standing square at the play the ball, nobby altered that in the 2nd half by at times only having 1 player at the play the ball and the next several yds behind.
not once did he mention his team high shots and grapple tackles they constantly got away with .7 -1 on penaltys mr sharo count ypurself lucky tgat it wasnt 15-0.
Also mr sharp didm you not see 3 of your players take at pat richards in mid air and force him to knock on ,also mr sharp did you not see your knock ons on your line and the ref play on .No mr sharp you saw none of this because the ref was playing for us in your comments.
sorry mr sharp if you think you should make commenyts about this you better watch out because im sure the sts wont let you gey away with as much as we did this week, you better get your own ship in to order before you get a pasting off the sts ,consentrate on your own teams inabilates to roll away from the tackle and you may just may come up with a great shocking result first. Thanks for listening mr shar[p but next time watch the dvd before you make your headline comments

Re: John Sharps comments
The NRl are far stricter as regards clubs commenting upon officials.
I cannot for the life of me fathom out why our tries should have been disallowed. moreover, I thought the Hudds try was more contentious.
As Mike states. Sharp took account of the conditions, the players he had available and played several props, second rowers as centres etc and attempted every trick in the book to slow the game down. Never seen so much placing of hands on the ball since Ellery played

Cant understand why coaches and fans moan about referees. At the end of the day it will change nothing. During the season it evens itself out any way,so just watch the players not the refs.

If Jon Sharp doesn't want the referee to give penalties against his side then maybe his side should stop doing fouls and being offside.
The Huddersfield match was similar to the Wakefield match in terms of penalties, Wakefield and Huddrsfield both tried to get away with alot and gave away penalties, there were incidents last night were the referee could easily have given penalties but didn't due the the fact Huddersfield had given away so many penalties already. Also at times the ref was giving penalties against Wigan for the slightes things tring to even out the penalty count.
I always here people say "they were robbed, the referee gave more penalties against them" but these people never stop and thing.... perhaps that team committed more fouls?

Easier said than done when the decisions made by the referee (good/bad) determine the game. Its very hard to sit back when terrible blatent misjudgements are made espically when you are such a passionate supporter of your team. These decisions are crucial to the outcome of the game.old hooker posted:
