Where did all the fans come from?!! Not a bad crowd tonight although i was a bit annoyed that we had to sit in another stand cause my mum couldnt get seats in the south with me, but it'd be good if we had that number every week.
Anyway missed 14 mins of the first half 'cause of ticket problems, but i thought it was a good match, think faz had a good game and hodgson took some bad passes well, it wasn't the most exciting game this season but well done again lads, we're goin up n saints are goin down :>

11,208 was what I heard announced which I thought was very good. A decent number of Hull fans I thought given the distance and it being a Friday - put the Leeds lot to shame.

As to the game I think it was a very tough hard game of RL. I thought Farrell was very good and is looking back to match fitness. He was a real handful for them and put in some big hits - he was was players player of the match and that is well deserved IMO.

I thought our defence was the best its been all season - but at times it had to be because we gave a lot of ball away especially early in the second half with some sloppy play and daft passes.

I think quite a lot of this was down to the inexperience of the younger players forcing the pass in our own 20m early in the tackle count. Half a gap and they want to go for it but they need to learn when you are in front you don't do that in yur own 20m area. They will learn and when they add a bit of experience to their undoubted talents we are going to be a real force again.

As to the ref - well he was dire. Missed the biggest knock on because he had his back to the play. The idiot was looking thr WRONG way. That was just one of many mistakes and howlers he made throughout the game. He could have completely ruined it as was rightly booed off at half time.

If anyone listened to the commentary on the radio I'd love to kow what the pundits on there had to say about him.

While on the subject of the radio I caught the last 10 mins of GMR when I got back in the car and the host of the show closed it by saying something like "A good night of RL with Wigan winning at the JJB and Saints losing at Headingly" LOL.

Agree great game. Pity it was nearly spoiled by that idiot Silverwood.

Well my dad was listening to the radio and said the commentators were saying there were some awful decisions, I think they mentioned the obvious holding down when we could have been in for a try easily if they'd let us get up and play the ball. I dont think the ref was really that bothered about right decisions because he wasnt on telly and was less likely to be questioned about his performance after.
As for hull supporters turning up, a lot of them were singing and telling us they were "gunna thrash" us, oh well long trip home for them.
