I've been playing rugby for a while and always buy "football" boots from JJB. To be honest I don't think that there are "rugby" boots any more just boots that can used for football & rugby.

The current Wigan Warriors players just use football boots, i know someone who works in JJB who says that they come in from time to time to by boots and they just buy football boots.......expensive football boots but still football boots.

JJB sell rugby boots. I bought some there. You just need to ask, as obviously the majority of the boots they have are for soccer. You need rugby studs as well - some of the soccer ones aren't advisable for rugby.

Wynsors (Scholes) have a pretty good range, a lot less expensive than JJB. For a young lad, you don't want to be paying too much, as they grow out of them so quickly. (speaking from experience, with a rugby playing son!)

Down Under Leisure on Gidlow sell Canterbury Rugby boots. However these days they do not look that much different from soccer boots. Andy Greg used to wear some that were made by a very small manufacturer, very little branding on them.

My sons play rugby and you can get them from JJB and some sports world shops. Canterbury do a good boot. You can find lots on the internet. The problem we have is my eldest son takes size 14 !!
