Ive just read somewhere on here that Farrell has been the best loose forward for sometime

That got me thinking!

Who do you think was the best in these two

Farrell or Hanley?

Different players, Hanley had the cream of world talent around him to act as a foil.
Farrel carried that team for god knows how long once we started our slide around 96-97 onwards. Could Hanley of done the same? We will never know. Would Farrel have stood out in the star studded line up the Hanley starrred in? Or would he have just been another cog in the Wigan machine?

These are better questions than merely asking "Hanley or Farrel?"

No thanks, Faz in the second row, like back when he first burst onto the scene, where he played his best rugby, as a strong running back rower with good vision. Not a half baked wanna-be stand off who threw way to many dummies followed by an inside ball.
