Personally I would have loved captain to have been Godwin, he has amazing leadership skills but now that has been thrown out the window...
my pick would be...
1.Ashton
2.Calderwood
3.Bailey
4.McAvoy (if we can sign him after loan)
5.Richards
6.Barrett
7.Orr
8.Fielden (vice captain)
9.Higham
10.Paleaeaasina
11.Hock
12.Fletcher (captain)
13.Someone new (my dreamworld signing would be Ellis)
------------------------------
14.Hansen
15.O'loughlin
16.Vaealiki
17.Hargreaves

How could you have a captain like Godwin who is only ever on the field for 20 minutes at one time?
I think the team will look something like this next season:
1, Ashton
2, Calderwood
3, Gleeson (got more than a strong feeling he will be in the cherry and white next season)
4, Bailey
5, Richards
6, Barret
7, Orr
8, Fielden
9, Higham,
10, Sculthorpe
11, hock
12, Fletcher (captain)
13 O'loughlin
14, Fecca
15, Leuli
16, Hansen
17, ?

I'd put DV in there, and maybe keep McAvoy as a reserve, depending what sort of salary he'd be on)
5.Richards
6.Barrett
7.Orr
8.Fielden (vice captain)
9.Higham
10.Paleaeaasina
11.Hock
12.Fletcher (captain)

O'Loughlin!!!!!!!!!!!!!
------------------------------
14.Hansen
15.O'loughlin
16.Vaealiki
17.Hargreaves[/quote]

15. Sculthorpe

I'd keep O'Loughlin as captain and also keep him in the squad, not been at his brilliant best this season but still done well, next season he will be back at his best.
Also I think Wigan have signed McAvoy already, didn't we get him on loan and then Leeds released him the day after so we could sign him?

1.ashton
2.calderwood
3. hopefully gleeson but if dv continues to play well i wouldnt be shouting get rid from the terraces.
4.bailey
5.richards
6.barret
7.orr (i like lueluia but orr is playing with his heart and is really picking up form fast)
8.fielden (get rid of all this 37 business lol)
9.higham
10.feka
11.hock
12.fletcher
13.o'loughlin (still as captain, i dont see why it should be changed. he is doing his job now and is playing better. he can only benefit from a tough first season.)
14.leuluia/orr (depends if we sign lueluia and if he plays scrum half. if he does then orr interchanging at hooker or lueluia)
15.hansen
16.hill, o'carrol or mcavoy (always nice to have that coverage in the backs.)
17. scully hopefully!

I never knew sculthorpe was coming back. I thought Cas signed him on loan with option to sign permanent n they signed him mid-season.

Also i think that if Lockers is taken captaincy off him he would perfom better because he wont feel as much pressure on his soulders.

thing is, the pressure seems to have lifted alot.
when we were terrible at the begining of the season, people turned to players like o'loughlin to put things right, pull his finger out so to say. this is were the pressure mounted because lets face it, no matter how good you are it takes more than one man to make a team.
now that everyone is playing, iit makes his job alot more easier and he is performing alot more consitantly.
