Just read on sportinglife.com that noble wants McAvoy to stay and nathan wants to stay so they are sorting out a deal!!Im quite pleased i think mcavoy has done well since he came and defends with his life!!

he did a great tackle on someone last night enar the line one on one and there was no mention of him leaving was there? he is a good player who has come out of his shell at wigan, sort of an un-sung hero. he deserves credit does nathan for his efforts this season.

so why didnt we? im not being funny but this guy is class. he is kiwi international. give him the off season and see how destructive he is next year.

Never mind the tackle, the way he had the presence of mind to pull his legs up in the air and under his chin makes his last nights try the try of the season for me.

That was a spectacular try, definatley on a par with the one lauititi scored against us. I am glad mcavoy is staying he is a decent player

Agreed, Mcavoy is a good solid performer, though he needs to work on his ball retention! Ive never seen anyone knock on as much as him!!!

Sorry but disagree with everyone on this one in every way. Poor going forward likewise in defence he needs people to cover for him. Fielden does a lot of talking to him to put him in position when defending along with making tackles for him also.

Noble wants him to stay because after saying all that he is not a bad player who is on little money, this allows Noble to use him as cover and does not cost a fortune to do it.

im getting quite tired of your negativity. how about give some credit were credit is due. he has played his heart out for us since coming and has been vital in defense and in attack on occassions. next you will be criticising brett for missing that conversion!
