Does anybody else think that setvo's comments about salary cap beraches next year were targeted at us?

I mean he was on about the clubs that stay up that have "cheated" and there fore sent cas down. However there was no mention that Cas broke the slalry cap last year in NL1 and were still allowed to stay in superleague.

Any thoughts?

he did hint at some club breking the sallary cap and cas would of stayed up but that could be wakey or london as well ,and seeing as they broke the cap to get in sl whats is problem rules are rules and they are there to be broken and punished next season ,so rules are rules

Anyone accusing any club directly of breaking the salary cap, at this point in the year two months before the accounts are collected, would likely be sued for slander by the club being accused.

The "experts" can claim what they like, but at this moment in time no-one can say that any club has or has not broken the salary cap for this season, they haven't yet even started looking at the accounts for this season! Until the accounts for the year to November are submitted to the RFL in January, any such comments have to be treated as mere speculation with no more weight than any other of the endless rumours that surround our sport.

Well if they dont get their new one in time for the franchise system, that would be a shame  But its true haven and such are being kept out because of their facilities, but yet we're still allowed to go to that shed!

I did not see boots and all but in the run in to both televised matches Cas and Wakey were shown in long clips beating wigan. The thing was very pointed at us.HC

Let's not ponce about on this.

We all know we've been the subject of this rumour since the day we signed Fielden. The fans of many other clubs are living in hope that we'll get a huge points deduction next season. Now that we've survived the relegation fight, it's become their new reason to exist.

But as someone else said, this season isn't over yet, and the financial year's end is even further off, so it's difficult to see how anyone could know anything. The Sky presenters sounded as though they were merely speculating - the word "if" was used several times.

Plus, Stevo's additional comments about Saints being kicked out because of the state of their stadium is surely proof that these guys often trumpet things that are unfounded in fact. Does anyone seriously think this multi-talented St Helens team is going to be chucked down to NL1?

does anyone really believe a word that the fat baboon stevo says?

he is possibly one of the most unintelligent people on tv just above jade goody. he has the worst verbal diarhoea and i think he lost what few braincells he had in his playing days.

going back to previous debates on stevo and his sky sports commentary driving people up the wall (or hitting mute) maybe its a ploy by the superleague clubs themselves to get people to go to the games in person so they can avoid him on tv?
