i got home from school today and the phone was ringing, i picked it up and heard Micky Higham on the other line 'Hi i'm mick higham from the wigan warriors...' i didn't know what was going on at first and then a realised that he was informing us to renew our season tickets. it's great that they've got players doing it.
Has anyone else had this phone call???

Bugger.
got a similar one yesterday, but as soon as I heard it was a recording I put the phone down (it's usually saying I've won a holiday or something).
Oh well, got my ST on order anyway!

I think it shows excellent thinking by the marketing team! It's not cold-calling (presumably they're only contacting people on the database).
I've already renewed all of ours anyway, but I'll be waiting in eager anticipation for a call from one of them!

Yep, I got Micky Higham as well. He needs some lessons in reading from a script, he should have practised for a few minutes first but at least it shows the club are making an effort this year. As always, I've left my renewal to the last minute but they'll be getting my money before the deadline tomorrow.

A Saints supporting mate told me that they've got Scully doing theirs. I made sure that I got the usual jibes in about whether he was enquiring as to who sells good crutches in case he needs them again this season, and that he obviously has had plenty of time to do things like that given he's never played.
