Bit of a let down all round really.
Poor attendance.
No atmosphere.
You can put the fight down to the ref not keeping a control of the game.
To be honest, the fight at the end was the only time that the crowd seemed to get going.
no doubt Rob wil be on later defending the ref!
wouldn't mind a couple of their forwards in our pack though!
Some cracking runs, just let down by their poor discipline.

a great performance by silverwood, penalising silly things and letting high tackles go unpunished

I thought the match was a bit dull. I may be slated but I think the atmosphere and the discipline of tonga made that impression of me.

Tonga though made some good play and kicks, were tough for parts... but both teams lacked a bit of formation, poor tackling in areas... it seemed 'easy' to some extent running forward through gaps.

Have to applaud calderwoods effort if keeping the ball alive from cookes passduring the last try. why he didnt get into the GB squad i dont know... made good defensive tackles... ashton looked ok.

The end 20 minutes, tonga lost it. not good to see 6 tongans surrounding an england player in the final minutes on the floor. Ref had it hard, but i dont know what he could have done except yellow/reds.
