In the anticiption of fixtures being released, I've been looking at flights from Manchester and Liverpool.
Manchester have flights to Perpignan and Liverpool to Carcassone.
Liverpool flights are looking a great deal cheaper and Carcasonne is meant to be a lovely place to visit.
Planning on a 3-4 day stay.
Thoughts anyone? :doz:

You can also fly manchester to barcelona (well girona, costa brava airport which is nearish to barcelona). Its about a 1 hour drive straight up the motorway to Perpignan if your budget allows a hire car. Alternatively, the catalans tours people do buses from that airport to Perpignan.

Is this just a guess, or do you have insider knowledge?

Why couldn't it be 9th June? I'm in Barcelona that weekend. Still, would've been more hacked off if it had been the week before or after.

Im banned from driving in the car, my um says 'If you break down your fu---d!'

was looking forward to a drive to down to Dax (cycling).

I looked a few weeks ago about flights from Liverpool > Carcy - very cheap, i think i got quoted £50 or so for 2 adult return mid-year. Depending on dates (uni finals) i will fly and book a hotel in perpignan.
