Yes, unfortunately he is going nowhere this year. Apparently they are going to use him differently this next season.
What this means is, your guess is as good as mine. Personally I would use him to bring the water on but that may be a problem for him as he may not be able to grasp the tactics behind it.

Arent wakey leaving No.5 vacant for tadulala? Incase he doesn't succeed in union? So he can come back to them, sure that was the idea.

Richards isnt going anywhere.
The only player that may be released is Vaealiki and that is only if wigan are prepared to pay 50% of his contract and it would be a loan deal.
Richards will take up his favoured no 5 shirt at wigan this season and will have withers inside him in the centres.
This should create him several try scoring opportunities.
He is also our goal kicker next season.
