Should Lockers be Captain?

I have my personal views but I was wondering what everyone else thinks.

We had a similartopic last year didnt we, and most people were undecided then. My personal view is that yes, he shoud be captain, he is young, a wigan lad and we know he can put 101% into every match when he's fully fit etc...

He isnt a Farrell or Edwards, he doesnt talk much on the pitch, especially at the start of the 2006 season behind the sticks danny rr, fletcher etc were giving motivation. But he is still an improving player and a long term captain is what we need. Obviously he doesnt know everythingbut in time he will, hopefully. the likes of Barrett and fletcher would only be shortterm captains, 2 or 3 seasons at most.

People have said that there are captains all over the pitch, fletcher seems to control his bit, im sure barrett will control and help lulu/higham etc...

I don’t think this question has been asked before. I’m talking about this coming season and with new potential captains available.

The reasons he should not be captain this year are the same as last. Nothing to do with who the alternatives are IMO and all to do with Lockers and his own ability in that role as a leader as I see it.
