Wigan Squad:
Ashton
Calderwood
Bailey

Fielden
Higham
Paleaaesina
Hock
Fletcher
O'Loughlin

Replacements
Vaealiki

O'Carroll

Looks like a full strenght team for Wigan. No Flanagan on the bench I though he might have given the kid a run out, just incase the worst happens and a half back gets injured.

Huddersfield Squad:#
from:
Brown, Crabtree, Drew, Elford, Gardner, Griffin, Hemingway, Hudson, Jackson, Jones, Lolesi, Mason, Nero, Paul, Reilly, Raleigh, Skandalis, Smith, Snitch, Thorman, Wild.

IMO a lot depends on how much Prescott has matured. I saw quite a bit of him at Leigh last year and he looked pretty big and pretty good but this is obviously a step up in class. Fingers crossed.

Also, now that I know we are taking all the boys I will be there!!

I disagree there. Ok there are no internationals, but there isnt anyone who would let us down. They can all do a good job in there positions, and with a full pre seasons training with Noble who knows what we will see this year. It is not fair to start criticising people before they have even touched a ball.

No the bench is pretty poor, vaeliki may be an ex international and once upon a time a very good player at parra but he seems to have gone slow and lost his strenght that he was renowed for in the NRL. Millard is old, my dad saw him in sydney in the tri nations and said he looked very unfit. The others are great because they are exiting young and most importantly WIGANERS, something latics havent got!! i hope brian throws in goulding for withers a couple of times this year he looks real star of the future.

I think Phil Vievers said Flanagan is just getting over an injury sustained while on holiday in Australia watchign the Tri Nations. While he's pretty right now, and apparently going OK in training, maybe they're not rushing him in terms of playing a game. He's destined to spend a bit of time in the Under-21s this year anyway.

If you mean me, someone asked why Flanagan wasn't on the bench so I explained what I heard heard that may shed light on that particular selection. I suppose it would have clearer to quote the original posting, Dave O style.

The RL Kid has only just joined us and may not yet have been exposed to what you call "Daveo style".
