Shame he spent all the match playing in his own half, if Wigan had got into the opposition half he could have really shown what he can do.

Unfortunately that could be the case for the rest of the season with the lack of decent Props Wigan could be forced to play the majority of matches from within their own half.

I didn't think we did too bad territorially. IMO what helped Hudds greatly was the fact that they were constantly subbing players whereas we made far fewer changes than I thought we would.

The massive hit from Leuluai was on Mason BTW.

Finally, I sat with the Hudds fans today. Was this stand virtually empty? I couldn't believe the attendance. Looking at the Wigan support I would have estimated over 3,000 in that stand alone.

Yes we subbed more like a league game fekka geting injured fletch didnt get a lot of game time and neither did fielden.
The support was great i think it was 2500 to 1500 in our favour.
Think we will be better for the run out some questions to be answered about which is best line up

Leuluai, for me was man of the match I think. Also Leuluai had a fantastic first game and it looked like he has jelled into the squad well.

Just to think back a few weeks on here he was being classed as injury prone and a bad buy,

Wigan played the entire second half in their own half apart from for about 5 minutes when their full back knocked on and then for about 3 seconds when Withers made the break. The forwards were poor today, Huddersfield played a very simple game down the middle then split the defence with little kick behind.

One of the only positive to come from the match is that Wigan only lost by 2 points despite playing with out the two main props for most of the match, Feka and Fielden only played in short spells, O'Carroll and Hill made little impact Prescott did ok but Wigan can not rely in those players if Fielden or Feka get injured because they are just not good enough yet.

LeuLeui was defiantly an outstanding player but could be a case of a good player playing in a bad team.
