Might be a good ides to entice Joe Lydon back to Wigan? His handling of the Union sevens team has been a revelation.

So you've got Mike Gregory sacked and out of the place already have you? Its almost like the bloke doesn't exist, for God's sake give him a chance why do some people suddenly want to draft in coaches who haven't been involved in league for donkeys years. Joe was a great Wigan player but leave him in peace with the kick and clap brigade.

agree with u dorsey..
i`m open to whomever we go for, as long as they are based in league, u never know gregory might keep the job if he does well enough, however personally i can`t see it.....

Bet you've changed your mind now Wolftown! Did you make the trek up the M6 tonight? And Nitsua hope you enjoyed the game I've watched it again since I got home but the atmosphere obviously doesn't come across on tv, there were some classic moments with the crowd virtually en masse singing to Jimmy Lowes and also when the Bradford fans kept shouting 'forward' even when our guys were at the opposite end of the field, our fans latched on to what was happening and shouted forward for every pass for the next five minutes regardless of how far back the receiving player was, all made for a good atmosphere at a hard fought match

When you saw Jimmy Lowes holding his hand to his ear it was to hear the whole of the Wigan crowd chanting that well known Andrew Lloyd Webber classic - You fat b*stard and then later on it became Jimmy Jimmy what's the score. It was all good humoured stuff cos we've seen it all before with Jimmy to the extent we could all write his script for him by now and some fans thought it put him off his game but I don't agree as that's just the way he is and its all part of the enjoyment to him plus Wigan were just simply the better team last night its as simple as that.

yes.. i did make the trek ( on a bank holiday to!! ) up the m6.. & i`m glad i did.. what a game...
we were fantastic throughout! i have videoed the game but not watched it back yet..
we were great, & it was good to see the bradford fans leaving 10 mins before the end... the atmos was electric best i have seen it this season..
& to be fair to the bulls they were in good voice to..
had a bulls fan sitting in front of me & he wasn`t very happy!! LOL
best game for me this year..we played some nice football. especially first 10 when they pressured us..
well done lads..
oh, in reply to nitsua, my comment was just that gregory would have to win or get close to the GF for him to be taken seriously, i just feel that lyndsy will go for a big name nrl coach..
but saying that gregory has done a great job so far...like i said , he deserves a fair crack, but will he?
anyways...
great game, great fanes great result.. see u at the hull game!

I know exactly what you mean Wolftown Warrior, after all which other club would sack their coach in the month where he gets the award for coach of the month ?? Atmosphere was good last night though for me the match of the season was still the one on Good Friday - pure magic.

Im not being funny but I didnt hear the bulls fans much at all, but then again the south stand wasnt quiet for 1 minute. I thought the atmosphere came across on telly a lot better than it has for any other match before, it was clear who was shouting and singing whereas other times its been a bit muffled. Considering it was (only) 14 000 :P, it was a very good atmosphere and a very good game
