I'm curious to know what her criteria were, Odsal is hardly the most well-appointed place in terms of facilities - lack of roof, things like that. About the only real positive is the fact it's so easy to get to compared to, say, the Safari Park hidden away in the back end of beyond of some dodgy council estate...

Odsal at the top is far more surprising than Saints at the bottom.

It was based on a family day out out. I think we where pipped on the not having baby changing facilities!

I remember that she did it last season. Two years ago when the kiwis came over for the Tri Nations they were using Knowsley Rd as a training ground and they couldn't believe how run down it was. In fact Brian Mclennen asked my mate at a training session if it was their practice ground. High praise indeed for the most sucessfull team of the Superleague era. :conf:

It's says "seat with a view" was one of the criteria; I hope Odsal lost points for that! Even ignoring the fact no-one saw much of our game there last year, there are only a small number of seats there compared to our all-seater stadium, and thanks to the speedway track around the outside the fans are further away from the action there than elsewhere. And I'm sure I've been stuck in queues trying to get out of the car park at Odsal (although things were even worse at Valley Parade).
