Tawera Nikau has had his right leg amputated due to a motor bike accident.

he had a moterbike accident and injured his lower leg[shin] after 5 operations the surgens could do no more but ampitate from below the knee, he will now set another fund up i have heard.
HE WAS A GREAT OF SUPERLEAGUE
