Its a difficult one to call really, at the end of the day he still is a great prospect and i would not like him to leave but his arogance seems to have got the better of him. Tough call why dont you sing Aga do just to throw everyone off?

He works all night, he works all day, to pay the bills he has to pay
Ain't it sad
And still there never seems to be a single penny left for him
That's too bad
In Maurices dreams he has a plan
If it got him a wealthy man
He wouldn't have to play league at all, he'd fool around with the ball

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In Chris Ashton's world
Aha-ahaaa
All the things he could do
If he had a little money
It's a rich man's world

A man like that is hard to find but he can't get union off his mind
Ain't it sad
And if he happens to be free he bets he wouldn't fancy League
That's too bad
So he must leave, He'll have to go
To Northampton or Union
And win a fortune in a game, his life will never be the same

Money, money, money
Must be funny
In the rich man's world
Money, money, money
Always sunny
In Chris Ashton's world

As someone has just said, lets sing him a songs that is supportive to Ashton, and that says that us fans do NOT want him to go.

I cannot think of any songs by the way. Sorry!!!!!!!

The song that Nobbie's Girl came up with is a good song.

I have another one, to the tune of you're not singing any more/your're not fit to referee, here goes:

We don't want Chris
We don't want Chris
We don't want Chris to leave our club.
We don't want Chris to leave our club.

A BIT too harsh on him at this present moment. Like someone has said, we are singing songs for/too him on Friday to encourage him to STAY and NOT leave.

His head MUST be all over the place, because he doesn't know quite where his future is lying.

What will his family say if he does move to Northampton? Surely he's got to have chatted with his mum/dad/girlfriend or whoever.

If he does move, will they go with him/refuse to go with him or what? What are everyone's thoughts on this particular aspect?
