I've just heard the news that sadly Adrian Shelford has passed away.

I would therefore like to pass on my condolences to his family and friends.

My own memories of Adrian are of a guy who played tough on the field, but was a gentle giant off the pitch.

If this is correct then sport has lost one of it's true gentlemen.

Shelford was tough and uncompromising on the pitch but, caring and gentle off it.

My sympathy goes out to his family and friends.

Was a great player during his time with the club,what shocking news this is,my sympathy goes out to his family and friends!
