Miss Warriors
I must say, the lass advertising the Miss Wigan Warriors competition is a bit of a cutie. Do all your female supporters look like this? From the pictures on the 'Post' and the 'Obby' and remembering your trips to Wembley in the 80s, I thought that all Wiggin rugby lasses were very pretty

Last year you managed 17,000 against Leeds and only 15,000 against Bradford, so 20,000+ would be quite an achievement.

<t>Do you want to make a bet with me right now that that average will stay at 17,995? Two attendances over 20,000 have artificially swelled it (you must have creamed yourself when so many Wire fans turned up for the first game of the season). But normal service resumed against Wakefield and Quins. N...

I think the words you were looking for were 'principle' and 'applies'. Or are your fingers too fat for your keyboard?

Re: Moderators... a reques...
Someone called into question my loyalty.
So I call into question the loyalty of those who deserted Wigan in droves the second they got relegated. 4,700, eh? What would the Aussies ake of that?

As for me being some kind of one season wonder, I've been going since 1980 (Division 4). Around that time, Wigan RL, as was, were relegated to Division 2 and averaged 4,700 to fourth-division Latics' 6,701. Acient and Loyal, eh?

Re: Moderators... a reques...
<t>In the thread on attendances you will see that the maximum that any team can bring is 5,100, tet Latics regularly average 20,000. So your sums simply don't add up. Against Chelsea, there were 23,500 on, with the 3,500 being Chelsea fans.<br/> <br/> Anyway, where would Warriors be without the 5,00...

Oh, one more thing before you ban me: how come none of you have what's known in the trade as a sense of humour?
