2011 Census

<t>Is it really 10 years since the last census. Again, the govt want to know who will you be in bed with on 27/4/2011, and where, also who is in the next room and what (if any) religion we all are. What they don't ask is the most important question of all, "Are you for or against E.U. membership". I...

Re: Norman Cherrington RIP

He wore contact lenses you know, and I remember one game where he lost one or both and the best part of the Wigan team were grovelling about looking for them in front of the new stand. Happy days.

Shaun Greenhalgh, Master forger.

<t>I've been trying to find out if Shaun Greenhalgh has been released early from his incarceration. Nowhere is info available on the website, but his earliest release date was set at 10/4/2010. He got 4 years 8 months in November 2007 so he is already in his fourth year in prison for embarrassing th...

Re: Who's the worst player we've had in the last decade?

T.E.W., You're maybe thinking of Gary Henley-Smith. He played a handful of games in the 1985 season and if memory serves me right, he was a New Zealand sprinter with a good record in that. Was never a R.L. winger in the memory of man.

Greg Inglis.

<t>Apparently he's turned Broncos offer down. Salary works out at £370,000 p.a. Theres a good thread running on redvee.net about this and there are some Stains speckies with a bit of sense on there (for a change). No-one mentions him coming to Wigan or even to S.L. and for that kind of money you can...

Re: Danny Mcguire and the stretcher

Thanks KW, that's the most profound statement on this thread. I think you've cleaned up what could have become a libellous discussion.

Rugby League in Canada and USA.

<t> Next Saturday, 18th September, Canada host USA in an international in Kingston, Ontatio. It seems that R.L. is thriving in Canada and the Stains have got themselves involved. Keiron Purtill, their ex-assistant coach is doing a great job in promoting the game in Toronto where there is a league of...

Re: Prohibition

Would Gary Connelly have put his hand up for that or would he have offered to sup ALL their ale? Either way, he`d still have played a blinder.
