Re: Huddersfield v Warrington (spolier)
Beer (or something) was raining down during the big melee. I assumed this was Wire fans. They really do have some head-bangers. But their team look impressive. But as said, the Giants really didn't offer much.

Surely the beak will have something to say about the assault on Field? I imagine a few HKR players will be in trouble.

Re: KRWillie Peters calls for “clarification” on laws as Hull KR are dumped from Challenge Cup
If Peters has a dispute with the match officials he should go through the normal channels not the media. This stuff reminds me of John Monie's view that coaches should "only complain about the referee when you've won" Absolutely. I think Lewis is a good player, and he had a decent game. H...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Couldn't agree more about Ryan Hall: his attitude was all class. All the more so when he had a bit of a stinker personally. Peters; not so much. :P In another oddity of the BBC coverage, did other posters notice than in the first half, Wigan were apparently playing in 'turquoise'. And 'purple' was m...

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
So what is the point here? If we can't be criticised for the win, we'll be criticised for the turn-out?

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Especially with the forward pass they made so much fuss about; if you're offside inside the 10 m, that's it, it doesn't matter what happens afterwards, it's a penalty.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
I got back from the game and straightaway turned on the TV cos I had the match recorded, and watched it back. Apart from whiny JD, it was great. I'll echo the praise for Thompson, he was great. Just a really good team performance.

I think the Bunker system in the NRL works very well, and the Captain's Challenge is a part of that. But our technology seems way behind theirs.

Re: Super League in talks over staging regular season games in USA
To me it smacks of the RFL mindlessly copying the NRL, again. There was some logic in the Vegas trip, although a lot of Aussie fans didn't like it. Much less for English teams. As Josie says, it's fine if you're getting a freebie ticket and flight! And if games must be played in the US, can't they f...
