Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
Especially with the forward pass they made so much fuss about; if you're offside inside the 10 m, that's it, it doesn't matter what happens afterwards, it's a penalty.

Re: Wigan squad for Hull KR (Semi-Final)
I got back from the game and straightaway turned on the TV cos I had the match recorded, and watched it back. Apart from whiny JD, it was great. I'll echo the praise for Thompson, he was great. Just a really good team performance.

I think the Bunker system in the NRL works very well, and the Captain's Challenge is a part of that. But our technology seems way behind theirs.

Re: Super League in talks over staging regular season games in USA
To me it smacks of the RFL mindlessly copying the NRL, again. There was some logic in the Vegas trip, although a lot of Aussie fans didn't like it. Much less for English teams. As Josie says, it's fine if you're getting a freebie ticket and flight! And if games must be played in the US, can't they f...

I just watched them get fairly comfortably beaten by London Broncos.

Re: BBC coverage questioned after underwhelming viewing figures
Oh yes, there's only going to be one set of cameras at a game, I assume Sky do the camera-work and the editing too.

He wasn't that amazing when he was there before, and the Bunnies had a much stronger squad then.

P & R, yes. But a "no jeopardy" rule for promoted sides lasting three (?) years to give them a fair chance to settle.

Re: BBC coverage questioned after underwhelming viewing figures
I agree the coverage has been really poor. I think most folk think of BBC3 as "Yoof TV", and it wouldn't even occur to them to check schedules for sport. Just how hard is to plug the game a bit? Mentions on MotD and so on. If the BBC want to know how it's done, they might check how they pu...

Re: Bigger impact than first thought’: Fifita theory emerges as star’s backflip leaves NRL in disbeliefs
Don't rate him. They're enormous potential there, but he acts like he can only be arsed in some games. I wonder how disappointed the Roosters (and wasn't he supposed to be going to Penrith at one point?) are.
