I think it will be a pointless match, who these days cares about or mentions the Bath matches or Wigan winning the sevens, just another way to get our hard earned money

I think most fans agree the playoffs are nonsense and don't bother with them, the only people to disagee seem to be the people in charge. Do you think they ever actually read what fans think?

I think the attendance will be very poor, just been on the ticketing site and 50-60% of seating still not sold. TV and weather won't help. I am going but a lot of people I know aren't bothering

I think you're right from what I've seen of the content there is little to make me want to purchase it. It also seems a strange time of the year to launch it when the season is at an end apart from playoffs.

No idea about the funding, the statement was from a Wigan Athletic interview with Steve Bruce. If we are renting the stadium (are we?) then would it be the landlord so to speak who funds it. Have no idea really.
