O Carroll had a great game but to start him instead of Fielding for me is the wrong move. Fielding did not have a good came agreed but what about Feka I would not pay him in washers. How long was he actually on the pitch for?? 15min?
O Carroll has a bright future ahead of him let’s bring him in slowly. On another note
I cannot understand why Feka does not get criticised more than he does.

o'carroll had a super game , this team will only get better and better. Cut out the silly mistakes and the dubious penalties (ganson) and we won't be far of the mark

So Feka is the latest target then?
Why do people expect props to play for the full 80?
There are not many that can play the full 80.
you will see that the majority of coaches swap the forwards around after 20 minutes or so, it's called a tactical substitution.
I thought Feka had a good game and made lots of yards on a pitch that has again been ruined yet again by the football :(

Fielden needs to deck somebody and get his confidence back. He didn't have an excellent game on friday but, like other people have said, he did play the full 80 minutes AND got a fair few meters with some of his runs. Think he just had a bad game but theres all season yet. O'Carrol was ace as always.

O'Carroll had more game time than Feka. That is what people are moaning about not that Feka didn't play 80 mins. A 19 year old prop had to play longer than one of our two experienced props. I think everyone expects Feka to be on the pitch longer this season than last and as it progresses he may well be.

But given Friday nights game it is fair a criticism that he wasn't on long enough IMO.

This is spot on Dave IMO.
Fielden is copping all the stick and played 80 minutes, while everybodies darling Feka played about one third of that.
I don't see why there should be any excuse for Feka who is only 24 years old, playing less than half of every game. I'm sure Fielden would be able to run with much more power if he only had to play for 15 - 18 minutes in each half.If everyone got spelled like Feka we would need to play with 6 props!

Anybody else out there wondering what the hell has happened to allegedly the best prop forward in the whole wide world. I'm now championing for O'Carroll to start the next game in place of Fielden. :o
Lets not jump the gun here!

Fielden is a top player he is just out of position. Yes Im saying it again Fielden is no prop he is a second rower.

For me feilden looks to have lost size, i think its probably down to becoming more toned but he seems to be smaller than he used to be, He also seems to have lost his anger, he used to be very firey having many an altercation with big barrie! he used to blast through the line at pace batting defenders off with ease, he seems to stop before he gets to them now. This is not an analysis just from last match but starting from last season.

However! i think he is still a valuble member of the team and he got through a lot of good work in defense even though he attack was lacking. O'carroll is an impact prop and played out his skin. If your going to compare o'carroll to someone compare him to feka as they are the same style of prop and o'carroll outplayed feka. He lasted longer and was more useful.

Feilden has lost his edge i feel but he does get smothered with his reputation and he is a solid performer and should be left in the squad, for me its feka who needs to raise his game not feilden, at 24 he should be lasting longer than he is, im not suggesting leaving him on for 80mins, but he should be doing 30 mins i feel.

Totally agree i think he has changed his running style and now stops at the line and trys to push people off rather than belt through them. Tell him to watch Gaz Hock he seems to know how to run a people.
