I don't know who Gemma Dee is, but getting to the SS Bar is not usually possible for me with having to travel in from Manchester. But I'll let you know the next Riversiders' meeting I go to. Or I might be at Bradford, young cbinder would be able to tell you who I am...

I got 3 membership forms on Friday from the table. I noticed there were imposters on these tables. I know this as the first 6 people I asked for a form for the Riversiders seemed quite puzzled to which I informed them that imposters were shot during the war...

The meetings, with players in attendance, are the main things, plus (unless you're Fraggle, who rarely seems to get to meet anybody) you get to put a few faces to names from this message board, etc, and generalyl meet like-minded fans.

Apart from the things you mentioned there are occasional other events. Last season we booked our own coach to the Huddersfield away game and stopped off the The George for lunch, met up with Stevo and had a good look round the RL museum. It was Nobby's first game and we won, too, which made it an even greater day! We also had a meal and tour of the stadium last season, which obviously included a chance to look behind the scenes - e.g. in the dressing rooms, players' gym. etc.
