Re: Dressing Room
I don't but the point is you don't know there is a problem either yet post a load of baseless speculation and in about 10 lines jump to conclusions not based on any facts.turf posted:
How do YOU know DaveO that everything is rosey OFF the Rugby League field for Ashton?

Re: Dressing Room
I was referring to the speculation that Ashton's mind was on other things and not on putting in a good performance, not the night club thing.Green_Vigo posted:
Actually Dave, he got that information from myself on a post discussing Ashton last night.
That would not surprise me in the least.

Re: Dressing Room
My apologies. As Eddie Hemmings would say if he gets/says something wrong.
You say that it wouldn't surprise you if Ashton DOES go out to night club bouncers and gives it the big "do you know who I am". Why is that?

because his ego is almost matching the moon in size. in his time here, ive watch him go from welterweight to heavyweight, and that is just his head size.

Because it has been par for the course for young players at Wigan for several years now with them regularly seen out and about in town, sometimes the worse for the odd shandy or 10.turf posted:

I have spent many a night in the Old Skool clubs including Maximes and have seen enough drugs to tell the difference.
Stood in the corner poseing for the ladies not doing big box little box drenched in sweat talking rubbish whilst licking his lips constantly was what i saw on more than 1 occasion.

Re: Dressing Room
Calm down Turf re read it. The post was about the players in the 90's and them not doing drugs. This was a typical example of a Pill head in a dance club in the 90's.turf posted:
What?!?!?!?! From Ashton!!!!! Oh for god sakes!!!! Someone PLEASE tell me no!!!!! What the hell is he playing at!!!!
He's WRECKING his reputation as well as everything else, including VERY crucially his career at 19, is looking EXTREMELY bleak if he is doing those sort of tricks.
Drenched in sweat, talking rubbish, and licking his lips constantly, for goodness sakes!!!! What is Ashton, an animal?!?!
You also say that he has done this MORE than once. You say drenched in sweat, you are not trying to say what I think you are, are you? That Ashton heads there straight after a game. SURELY not?!?!?!?!

turf, a very strong reaction there. think you misinterpurated damien's post. he was symbolising ashton as acting like a stereotypical club druggie. nothing more. don't go as far as to his sex life antics, jesus christ turf
