Ganson.. Video ref ?

Not that I am knocking his decisions tonight, but how can a Saints fan be video ref in a game involving his side? Ganson would not be allowed to ref in the middle but is allowed to make the tight decisions as the video ref.
It doesn't make sense, but credit where due he gave us the benefit with the obstruction to disallow a try for Saints.
Whats the difference?

Stuart Cummings was on either Boots'n'all or the GMR phone in recently and he said something along the lines of referees (since being made full time) WILL be in charge of home town games and he said that as professionals their integrity should not be questioned and it is irrelevent who is playing as they are always impartial. :conf: Must admit when Klien referred that one to the video ref everyone near us groaned and expected the worst but fair play to him he did the right thing.

Kirkpatrick is from Warrington, pretty sure Ganson is from St Helens

Ganson is from St Helens. It is Bentham and KK that are from Warrington

I was extremley suprised with Gansons desisions tonight. Even though he did do his job and not be biased as he usually is, i'm sure he was swinging his shirt round his head when saints won.
I'm pretty sure he is from St Helens tbh.
Although i think he is more biased in the Warrington games, when Briers has a paddy and gets his own way.

Probably because Briers is always trying to tell the ref how to do his job - Ganson won't like that and nor should he so I reckon he'll revel in showing Briers who is boss
