Richard Silverwood..........

Post by turf »

Was ok tonight. He could have pulled yellow/red cards out for Leeds, YES, I admit that, but he decided not to spoil the game.

He was right to send Fielden to the bin. Thackary was holding him down, but on the flip side, Fielden was holdinh Thackary down, result - scorrect dishing out of the yellow card because he had just warned us.

Also got the Hock sin binning spot on.

It would have been impossible for Mr Silverwood to keep his whistle in his pocket tonight because of both teams poor tackling teqniques (spelling).

fielden didnt deserve to be sin binned but we was holding down all the game and lockers was lucky not to be sin binned a few minutes before that tbh. silverwood should have binned someone for the high shots, thackerly pesistantly did high tackles.

I agree.. he had no choice in either...Fielden should have tried extra to extract his arm, though i fear it would have incurred the same penalty for stripping! You can't win! What did me was the succession of offsides we concided when Leeds were totally in our faces all night... how's about the same either way !! We were playing the ball, giving it flat to a forward and Leeds were crunching him on receipt of it, they were either offside or Silverblood was missin someting.

when he penalised ashton (totally wrong) he gave leeds away into the game that they never looked like having.A bit more composure and we could have been well ahead by half time.tackery should have been binned on more than one occasion

Soon after the sin bin a bad head high tackle from Leeds and he doesn't even put him on report.

Leuluai knocked on and he gave Leeds a penalty! What was that about?

Good game? You must be joking.

I agree Waterside, that decision looked wrong and how a Leeds player didn't end up in the bin for similar offences i do not know but fair play they overcame the adversity and pulled off a result with or without the ref ! :)

Silverwood was consistant all night he was poor all night or should i say crap!

He game penalty after penalty against Feilden but never gave a decision for fielding But always gave one against fielden

Great first half & Hock had a blinder of a half geting not 1 but 2 shirts ripped of his back, he made some mistakes in second half but not as many as Lockers did mind you

But then again thats only how i saw it through cherry & white tartan specs

GOOD GAME MY AR*E,Bailey goeas high on Fielden Silverwoods exact words" direct attack to the head",so he saw it or TJ saw it so why put it on report & not send him off, answer KOP OUT.We had 2 players sin binned for thing's that wear going on all night by both team's.Thackery went high on at least 2 occasions what happen's nothing only a penalty to wigan.Sorry but if we had lost tonight it would have been a major injustice.Silverwood was very poor tonight. We deserved that win & the players did us proud. Also what about the penatley against your mate CA,another mistake by the ref.
