Has anyone else noticed that NRL players seem to be dropping like flys....

Gasnier ( out for the season )
Johns ( retired )
Kidwell ( out for the season )



There has been alot of freaky injuries in the NRL is season already,

mark gasnier out for the season did it in a warm up game in the first 5 mins

david kidwell injured playin with his little daughter and juped so he didnt squash her out for the season also

andy johns injured in training a recurance of an old neck injury that has forced him to retire....

And typically, it's a season when GB won't be playing the Aussies so we won't even get the chance of trying to beat them when they've got a weakened squad (if there is such a thing for the Green and Golds!). By the time we get to the World Cup they'll have either recovered (Gasnier) or they'll have found a replacement "best player in the world" (Joey) and England/GB/whatever will get annihilated as usual...
