The OPTA stats also highlight Lockers as one of our leading players. However, the stats good or bad are influenced by appearances and time on the pitch.

I was saying this all last season, but a lot of members would stick up for him, it seems he can do no wrong in a lot of peoples eyes. We keep seeing decent players linked with the club and many say they are not the standard that Wigan need, yet they are way better players than Mr sayer, a lot of fans seem to be blinkered, i think that due to the fact his Brother in law is Faz and his dad is Keiron, a good number of fans feel he is a great player, swap him with KR for Cockayne & Gene.
I am not a "can do no wrong" type of supporter of him, but to swap him for Cockayne & Gene is a well blinkered move.
This was probably the worst game he has played all season, and like any player who has a crap game, 'lets jump on his back, and get him out', is not the right attitude.
OK, maybe not the best choice of captain, granted, but a genuine player who puts in alot of effort on the park, and on his day can be very good.

I wasn't as fit or strong as before but my two biggest muscles still worked - my heart and my head - Kris Radlinski.

Also Medlocke, saying he should be replaced by Gene or Cockayne really does prove you know nothing.

What do you think either of these 2 offer than O'Loughlin doesn't? (Consider he plays at loose forward).

FWIW, Ben Cockayne is a load of crap who can't tackle or catch. Don't believe his hype he is not a top class full back. Scoring a couple of tries and getting a good reputation does not make you a good player.

So what you are saying is that it is inevitable Lockers (or anyone for that matter) will make x number of mistakes in y minutes on the pitch. The greater the value of y, the greater the value of x will be.

I'll bet for some players x is a lot less for the same value of y than it is for Lockers !! In Lockers case x is simply too high whatever the value of y is.

He isn't the only one in our team where this applies but it is no use trying to make excuses like this because that is all it is, an excuse for coming up with too many errors.

If being on the pitch as long as he is is contributing to his error rate then he is on too long.
