does any one know how long is the record is to go unbeaten and who holds it cheers
btw how long did wigan go unbeaten in the 6 year patch
unbeaten
Re: unbeaten
...for 6 years?
Reet, apparently longest unbeaten record is 31 matches, which were the last 8 of the 69/70 season and first 23 of 70/71 , held by us. Ah, I remember those days!
Saying that though, it's a Rugby League record that not a super league, so it's completely irrelevant because it's all in the past. Am sure Bradford or Saints have probably got the super league record for longest unbeaten record. Scam

Re: unbeaten
Oh yes...the memory starts to fail a bit now, but I was about 15 then.
I might do a little research to put up the squad names from then, but it would have had guys like Colin Tyrer, Colin Clarke (Phil's dad!), Frankie Parr, Doug Laughton & Bill Ashurst (scary hair!).
I seem to remember it was around then that the new Duggie stand was built, but I could be wrong.
