On current form:

1. Webb
2. Vainikolo
3. Talau
4. Toopi
5. Richards
6. Barrett
7. Jones
8. Pa'aleasina
9. Newton
10. Cayless
11. Hock
12. Peacock
13. O'Loughlin

One thing an excercise like this highlights is the relative lack of GB qualified players that would be considered contenders.
And i thought you knew your rugby Geoff
OK, I'll bite!
Care to elaborate further?

Vainikolo: probably the most dangerous winger in SL.

Toopi: arguable, admittedly, but he's one of the form centres at present.

Richards: a lot of good wingers around; his goalkicking gives that extra reason to pick him.

Hock: penalties aside, no contest.

O'Loughlin: Close with Sculthorpe, but no other contenders, and Scully's not the player he was a couple of years ago.

Your turn!

based on FORM

1. Platt
2. viainikolo
3. gidley
4. David vaealiki  id have said Toopi aka Torpi but his handling isn't even crap, it's worse.
5. Richards, kicking to.
6. Barrett :D
7. Burrow
8. feka
9. cunningham
10. cayless
11. hock or ellis, couldnt decide, hock's penalties may force me to say ellis.
12. solomona
13. scully, id have said o'loughlin only he has had a dip in form, and even though scully isn't the same as he used to be, he is still pulling out the performances for saints.

1. Platt - In great scoring form
2. Fa'afili - He quick and strong
3. Gleeson - Been a good centre for a while now
4.Atkins -I want him for wigan, he young and will be great in a few years
5.Post man Pat (richard- he has come into his own this year and will always send the ball over the post 1st class.
6.Barrett - don't really need to comment.
7.Deacon - Good kick and moves his team around the pictch well.
8. Cayless - Good solid forward. get the job done and get saints out of their own half.
9. Newton - he is brill like we all know and get change a game like that or by breaking some one check bone. he was a bit hard done to with his current ban.
10- Feka- He has been our best forward this year. Everyone expectations rise when he gets the ball. It took 5 men to put him down at Salford.
11-Hock - not really much competition for him. Needs to tidy up his decapline.
12- Solomona- He is just starting to settle in at bradford, don't like the guy but he is a good rugby player.
13- Langly - he impressed me at Millium Magic (problem not best loose forward in league but i don't like anyone ealse)
