I agree with Rob, I think, although the first 20 mins were ok until danny Orr limped off - any news on his injury?
Smith & Faz were outstanding yet again. The backs hardly seemed to get the ball (again once Orr went off), Lockers was less effective than he has been recently (think it was his pass that was intercepted for one of their tries? not sure?)
For once, no real criticism of the ref (Silverwood)!
Very disappointing Wigan support, I thought maybe 300/400?. We drove down, which is why I only just got online (apalling weather on the way back, had to keep it under 90mph most of the way!)
I think the London fans must be my favourites of any team, really friendly and less biased than most.
All in all, though, a very enjoyable day out, and at least the result was good even if the performance wasn't.

By the way do you know where the word posh comes from?, bet GeoffN does because he must remember the days of Empire as well. :)
Port Out, Starboard Home. (so you get the shaded, ie North facing, cabin both ways)

Most of the guys where I work "darn ere in London" would have grown up only seeing the occasional CC game on BBC which would have invariably featured (a very entertaining) Wigan side. Until London came into exsistance and gave them a local team to follow I would bet that a large proportion of the fans would have had said they followed Wigan.

Thats true for the chaps in my office anyway! (except loyal old me of course)

Empire MrsLam Empire. None of this polically correct nonsense about Commonwealth.

GeoffN, not only the shaded cabins but with true capitalist enterprise they were the more expensive cabins on each voyage, thats why the people in them were posh. :)

A few home thoughts from abroad, well London, we very poor yesterday but at this stage of the season and after what happened five weeks ago, its the points that matter not the performance. Moran was once again outstanding for them, their props made lots of ground and their backs looked far more dangerous than ours. Faz was Man of Steel immense again, Wild and Connolly defended superbly and Luke Robinson was much more lively than Lam when he came on.

I took along a few Union chums to show them real rugby and they finally ceded to my endless Farrell evangelising though they expressed surprise at his appearance! I had just finished explaining how quick Dallas was when he broke clear from his own line but completely failed to out pace the cover, I put this down to the knock he got to his leg in the first half, he hasn't had a loss of pace/confidence has he? Anyway, Griffin park must be a difficult place to play at we got the win, roll on those play offs
