Jaime Lyon Cleared to play on Saturday

According to local radio station GMR Saints's new centre Jaime Lyon has been cleared to play in the play-off game on saturday when he was only due to come over and play next season, how on earth do saints get away with this because they did this with Grey Veaine from the NZ warriors. So how come saints can do this with there players and non of the other clubs can? because those two players where still under contract at their respective clubs.

They probably aren't under contract, as their sides have gone out of the NRL playoffs - therefore, they will have been released.

We could probably got Davico etc if we had been on the ball and asked them...

But Mike, I thought Davico is out with injury until next March anyway. Where is see u Jerry, he is not in the NZ squad, has he retired internationally or is he crocked as well?

I think you'll find that the reason they were able to get Jamie for this year is because he hasn't actually played in the NRL since i think about March or April this year. After leaving Parramatta he was playing country league for the Wee Waa Panthers who have just won their grand final so he is now free to play.

Believe it or not Wee Waa Panthers are a real team and very very big with the folk of Wee Waa. Only a small bush competition though nothing major, though some very talented players have come out of Wee Waa. Not really sure who leigh miners are so dunno bout that one.
