No we're not. Just another rumour, with even less substance than most.

Why would anybody in the right mind want to sign Andrew Johns with the amount of rugby he's played over the last 2 seasons?

I agree what is Maurice thinking about, is he trying to tell the Wigan supporters something, does he and Mr Wheelan want to see wigan get relagated from Super League so Mr wheelan has more money to spend on his first love the Latics players cause thats how it looks to me, Wigan Rugby have some good young players why can he not give them a chance instead of signing a 30 something player who has done nothing for Warrington so what is he going to give Wigan, come on Mo and Dave get some proper money spent on some good players for a change and give something back to us the fans who pay for a good quality game of rugby week in and week out. i hope people who read this agree with my opinion and are they just using the salary cap as an easy way out.

ive always defended maurice when it comes to the signings he makes there is always a reason for them. but the players he has signed for next year are to say the least poor! nat wood would be another poor signing one which could turn wigan into a mid table team. like warry outside the play offs can't finish teams off always seem to lose by the one pointer. now i can see what maurice is thinking we have a very young squad lots of good players about to break through into the first team and an old hand could give vital expeirience to these players. but for gods sake maurice not woods!

Whats all this attack at MoFo?
Is it Mo who signs up your team or is it the coach?
At most clubs its the coach who has the call?
Doesn't Dennis Fretts have any say in his squad?

GeoffN, worrying report friday on Wigan Today that Wigan arguing with the Wire over a £20000 fee for woods. I hope to heaven it is not true otherwise I will have to carry out my threat to give up my 25 year season ticket membership!
Keep the faith, I'm believing what that Wigan Spokesman said on teletext yesterday when he said it was complete rubbish. It had better be.

GeoffN but Jerrries looked quite useful tonight and on the basis of the number of games he has missed for Wakey this season he would fit right into Wigans team

True, but the Wakey pack dominated throughout, once they stopped giving silly penalties away. That Krokodile (or whatever) guy looked pretty good, and that try by Feather was a cracker.
Certainly rather have Jeffries than Wood, btu I don't think either is worth letting Luke go.
