Think posted on wrong one before! I am from Yorkshire!
I am the Police Schools Liaison Officer for the Wakefield area and im organising the sales of T-shirts for Brennan Rooney to go for treatment to Poland for Cerebal Palsy. It would be great if the treatment would allow him to walk and have a better quality of life! This is to create stronger links with the Wildcats to encourage Children away from crime and Anti-social Behaviour. If there at the game or playing the game they aren’t on the Streets etc etc. They go on sale for the Bradford Game and through local media sources im asking everyone who buys one to wear it at the Wigan Game on July 1st at Wakefield. Everyone who buys 1 who wears it at that game will be given a free raffle ticket for prizes at half time including 2 tickets 2 the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley. The shirt has the West Yorkshire Police badge and Wildcats badge on amongst sponsors and is only £5 for children and £7 for adults. If there is enough takers i am going to do exactly the same shirt but replace the Wildacts badge with the Wigan Warriors one and send a few over to the club shop. Martyn Sadler (Editor League Express) states he knows some Wigan fans well and they would be interested to get one to wear at the game. It will be a unique event and from past Charity events Steve Prescott to name a few, I for one am proud to be a supporter of the best family game in the world called Rugby league as we all pull together! I am not saying that this cause is any better than any other and am not after any kind of sympathy vote just an expression of interest to see if it is worthwhile to produce the shirts with the Wigan badge on. All my local School children are helping sell the shirts in schools and before games and it is positive to see.
Good luck to the Warriors secretly there my 2nd side cause I grew up when you were dominant in the 80's/90's and have fond memories! However I also remember we beat you at your place when nobody could when Andy Wilson scored a 90metre try. How we did that i'll never know!!

if you go back to your original one, you can select delete and it will remove it
mods, it's for a good cause, any chance of a sticky?
Is there a website we can order from (if you do a Wigan one), as don't live local

Re: Brennan Rooney Appeal
I initially aim to see the interest and then i am hoping Wigan will sell it from Your shop. Due to time limits and feasibility of sending out shirts they will probably only be on sale from your shop. I hope they can arrange to send out the shirts and charge posting fees as they normally would with their normal merchandise. It is all on whether they have time and can set this up for me. I am going to find out what Wigan can offer and then i'll post the details.
Re: Brennan Rooney Appeal
Why not post a picture of the shirt on here so people can see what it looks like? You could make it your avatar?
