Anyone looking to travel to London (wembley) and don't want to travel with rip off Virgin, for the challenge cup final then be aware that magatrain/megabus offer Preston to London is £1 each way(on bus). ONE QUID that is. Various options available. More routes added all the time. Bookmark it cause it isn't the easiest site to find...

The Megabus although cheap is not a very pleasant experience.

Why not hitch-hike, walk, cycle or if needs be sprint to Wembley

I was going to say exactly the same thing... you can get train tickets for £10 to London if you time it right, the extra cost is definately worth the reduction in hassle.
