listened to 2nd half of game on gmr as got kicked out of my uni halls tv room after first half of wigan game (yes rugby league fans are persecuted in ru land) but from commentary it would seem that neither team could complete a set- seemed at one point that commentators were talking about other issues and then would time from time chip in with "and so and so has just knocked on". made snooker sound interesting.

Wasnt that game the start of our record breaking run in the challenge cup????? 1987? 88?

I remember reading about it in my book and cant confirm it... but I remember a 2-0 win in mud etc at Odsall I do believe to start off our 8 years of glory

Salford - Castleford a few years ago was a lower score with no tries! cant recall the actual socre but i read it the other day so i'm pretty certain its true!
