Great to see someone who really deserves this type of award.
Kris is a great ambasedor for the game of rugby league. No airs and graces with him, we were at his book signing and even thought he was a tad late he was the first to say sorry to all the waiting fans.
So Well Done on getting a :- My Bloody Effort Award

One of the greatest rugby league players of all time. A gentleman on and off the pitch, who put it on the line for Wigan time and time again. So many great memories from such a great bloke.
In my mind he is without doubt the best fullback of the modern game and if there was ever a bloke that deserved a well paid job somewhere at Wigan RLFC, it's him.
Really pleased that he has been recognised in the honours list - because it's by awarding them to people like him that they actually mean something

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?
Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

What a great tribute to a great player. He is certainly one of the best servants Wigan and GB have ever had. Just think though that plonker stevo said last season that Wellens was better.
Congratulations Kris! I know he reads this, if he doesnt he's illiterate.
Thoroughly deserved and shows all he has done for the club hasn't gone unnoticed in the country and outside of Rugby League. A true professional always stayed loyal to his home town club and a great sportsman.
I remember him young aged coming to Our Lady's Primary teaching rugby after school with a few other A-team players i'll always remember that because I liked Robinson at the time and thought he hated him because he's in the first team in his (what was I suppose) his position at the time briefly.
