Unfortunately for Stuart, management positions generally require brains.

No the question is general. Does any of the current crop league wide strike you as a management candidate. We tend to import managers. KK moved in and got kicked out (unfairly ) Macrae said on sky yesterday he was unsure right up to the last minute. As I predicted he bought his ticket the day after KK's demise :conf:

The only player in the current Wigan team I could see going into coaching/management is Barrett.

The rest are either too young so have not shown any great leadership aptitude yet, are too thick (I'll leave for others to say who fall into that category ) or carry too much controversial baggage such as Fetcher and to a lesser extent Fielden (do you really want a coach who goes boxing even if it is for a good cause?).

When you think about it the answer to the question of who has management potential gives you the answer to another question. Who should be captain.
