An interesting read PW.

Being an upper class southerner who was brought up on RU the article made me all the more thankful for it.

I don't think they should just address the imbalance with RL though, successful competitors in whippet racing and Pigeon fancy-ing should also get the recognition they deserve.

Joking aside it reinforces the fact that the honours system in this country is/has become errrr A JOKE!

RL players are the toughest most dedicated sportsmen on the field and (the majority) perfect ambassadors for their sport off it. You couldnt get a more deserving bunch of people.
